Dr. William "Jake" Brownell is a Podiatric Surgeon within the Division of Plastic Surgery at Penn Medicine. He completed his residency training at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, as well as the Lower Extremity Plasstic & Lower Extremity Reconstructive Fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery and Fellowship Director for the Lower Extremity Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship. His practice focuses on limb salvage and preservation, with emphasis on advance bone and soft tissue lower extremity reconstruction. His practice also entails Charcot reconstruction, trauma, and minimally invasive surgery.
