Dr. Ramzan M. Zakir is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and currently the Director of High Risk PCI & Research at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas University Hospital. He is also the Medical Director of Cardiac and Vascular Interventions that performs complex endovascular interventions in OBL setting. His clinical expertise includes complex coronary interventions and endovascular interventions for patients with claudication and critical limb threatening ischemia. He was one of the early adapters of transradial interventions for both coronary and peripheral interventions. He is a principal investigator in several trials in the coronary and endovascular space and a recipient of numerous awards. He is invited faculty to numerous conferences and is Chairmen of Cors/Vasc at the Shore that provides cutting edge education to New Jersey.
