    Dr. Abularrage is the Bertram M. Bernheim Associate Professor of Surgery and Fellowship Program Director in the Division of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is the editor-in-chief of VSCORE, the national curriculum for vascular surgical trainees, and a nationally recognized expert on surgical education. He serves as an Editor of the Annals of Vascular Surgery and on the editorial board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery. He also serves as the Director of the Johns Hopkins Multidisciplinary Diabetic Limb Preservation Service. He is an internationally recognized expert in the multidisciplinary management of the diabetic foot and has published extensively on diabetic vascular disease, with a focus on socioeconomic disparities and costs of care.
