Dr. Alabi received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, trained in general surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center, and completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Oregon Health and Science University. She was recruited to Emory University after completing her surgical training to expand the clinical, research, and education paradigms related to improving access for evaluation and management of vascular patients, particularly those with acute aorthopathies and peripheral artery disease (acute and chronic limb threatening ischemia). She serves in the roles of Associate Professor of Surgery, Chief Quality Officer for the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, Chair of the Departmental Access, Support, and Impact Committee, School of Medicine course director, and a funded investigator with an academic portfolio focused on the intersection between vascular disease, quality, and health equity.
