Pradeep K. Nair, MD, FACC, FSCAI initially joined the Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in 2014 as the first dedicated endovascular interventional fellow of Craig Walker, MD. He is an interventional cardiologist who has devoted his career focus to peripheral artery and venous diseases and interventions as well as research and education. He completed his Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry with University Honors at Carnegie Mellon University, Medical Doctorate at Drexel University, and Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Campus. He currently serves as Vice-Chairman of New Cardiovascular Horizons Annual Meeting in New Orleans and is an active member of the Vascular Disease Leadership Council of the American College of Cardiology, CLI Global Society, and the Board of OEIS. Currently, he serves as the National Co-PI of the THOR IDE Trial. He is the husband to Asha and father to two sons, Armaan and Aeshaan. A native of western PA, he and his family love the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and visit home whenever possible.
